Dyson Sphere Program Fixes Ray Receiver Buffers and Terrain Restoration

Several fixes follow plant transplantation and Restore Terrain. The automatic Graviton Lens buffer falls from twenty to ten.

Youthcat released a corrective Dyson Sphere Program update on September 24. The changes follow the introduction of plant transplantation and terrain restoration the previous day. Players trying the new tools therefore already receive revised controls.

Ray Receivers’ automatic buffer capacity for Graviton Lenses drops from twenty to ten. The update also fixes an issue in which loading a save with less than one remaining lens could affect the proliferation calculation.

These changes answer different questions: the buffer controls the quantity held in reserve, while the fix concerns calculations when loading. They do not imply a blanket halving of an existing facility’s energy output. A capacity comparison still requires the receivers’ actual operating state.

Restore Terrain’s cursor colour changes. Its button on gas giants should no longer remain incorrectly highlighted after clicking. In new games, the update also corrects the types and quantities of materials produced when salvaging the landing capsule.

This report covers the specific follow-up patch for the two new tools. Its brief fixes alone cannot establish a comprehensive terraforming strategy or a guaranteed energy balance.
